COLLEEN PITTET THERAPY

Therapy for people carrying too much for too long

Helping people navigate chronic stress, illness, anxiety, and the pressure to hold it all together.

Hello and welcome

Sometimes life asks more of us than we feel equipped to handle. You might be worrying about your health or someone else's, feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities, or wondering why things that used to feel manageable now feel so hard.

You don't have to figure it all out on your own.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, get curious about what's happening beneath the surface, and understand yourself in a different way. Rather than focusing on what you need to fix or do better, we can explore what you need, what's getting in the way, and what might help you feel more like yourself again.

My hope is that our work together helps you navigate life's challenges while making more room for the relationships, experiences, and everyday moments that matter to you.

About Me

I'm Colleen, a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with over 25 years of experience in nursing and healthcare. My background has shaped my understanding of how physical health, emotional well-being, and relationships affect one another.

I'm passionate about supporting individuals and families navigating chronic health conditions, including food allergies, autoimmune disease, and chronic pain. My own experiences with some of these challenges have deepened my appreciation for their impact on everyday life.

I believe therapy is an opportunity to understand ourselves more deeply, approach ourselves with greater compassion, and find new ways to navigate life's challenges.

I acknowledge that I live and work on Treaty 1 territory, the ancestral homelands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and on the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. I respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, I acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and am dedicated to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
